We started traveling through the streets of Brackenfell to accumulate how many children were homeless and without food or any beverages. Children from as little as 3 years old were upon these older children who were without anything to survive. We started making/buying food and distributing this food at nights on the streets of Brackenfell. We also wanted to work on their spiritual side, which soon came to an end, due to the fact that they did not show any respect or believe in our Almighty God. They are in a situation where God is not in their heads and hearts, they are alone and hungry and don’t understand why they are placed in such surroundings, not understanding why their parents aren’t there to assist and take care of them. Some of the children are on the streets of their own free will, but only because situations at home are not for children to live in, parents are drunk or on drugs. Many children are being abused at home throught their own parents, when they are in no situation to look after their children. We soon realized that the more we gave food, the more children appeared on the streets, that was not our plan, we wanted them to go to shelters, and only give them something worth looking forward to, but due to the fact that shelters are either full or not equipt to deal with specified needs of these children, they have no other resources to take.
