Sing For Africa has helped many communities, schools, families, and individuals, and have ascertained a prominent and reoccurring factor in all these cases dealt with, that there is a breakdown of communication within every broken family and the lack of family support for the troubled individual/s.

Sing For Africa with the help of a very prominent community leader and reservist trauma councilor for the Kuilsrivier Police Department Mrs. Dawn Roode, have constructed various workshops to address the various problems individuals are experiencing and devising support structures for victims, learners, teachers, families, the community leaders and members of the S.A.P.S.

Sing For Africa’s objective is to uplift and holistically reconcile families and communities, turning victims into victors, and biblically guiding addicts, alcoholics, abusers and troubled person to become role models and mentors for generations to come.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING ,I.D A KID, TRAUMA SUPPORT CENTRE                                                                      

Albow Gardens is a very impoverished community of 840 men,  women and children. Albow Gardens consist of 10 three story blocks , 24 flats in each block. Children as young as 12 years are mothers, prostitution, alcohol, abuse, drug abuse, molestation and crime is the order of the day here. Most children in this community are raised by single parents. This community cannot even provide extra mural activities for the children, children are left to stimulate themselves, and therefore turn to drug and prostitution.

Individual cell groups have been implemented for the various age groups. This had a tremendous positive reaction, but much more has to be done to make a visible difference.

Chess classes has also been started to mentally entertain these children.

Sing For Africa has purchased and received donations of food, cleaning products and clothing, which enabled Sing For Africa to create a  food-, cleaning-, and clothing parcel to try and alleviate some of  the daily hurdles these people have to overcome.

This community needs to be uplifted spiritually and mentally, substantial support is constantly requested for the upliftment and reform of this community.

 

Bottelary Primary School is situated just outside Kraaifontein, on the Old Bottelary Road. The School  consist of 480 children, which come from the surrounding farms.

Bottelary Primary School has been the target for many young children to practice drugs.

Sing For Africa has donated balls to this school, for the practice of soccer or netball, Various business from the Brackenfell area has sponsored these balls, that we can get the children focused on sport and not drugs.

There is a considerable need for upliftment and restoration of this school.
