BACKGROUND
1. Sing for Africa is a dream that originated in the middle of 2005 and was established in October 2006 with the “Vision” to become the biggest Childcare Initiative on the African Continent. Childcare is our core business and its purpose is to make the biggest possible difference in the lives of l under privileged children without reference to colour or creed. Sing for the Children of Africa, herein after referred to as Sing for Africa, has been established as a Section 21 Company (NPO) to assist and support the SA Government with the great challenge that they face i.e.; poverty, sexual abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction etc,etc that is being inflicted on our children.
2. Millions of children go to bed every evening without a meal and those fortunate enough, with a slice of bread. This situation is disturbing and what is really ominous is that money raised for children, and other charity organizations, in many instances, seldom reach those that it was intended for.
3. Sing for Africa is an initiative by a very special group of children with the sole purpose to take hands and to mobilize the masses of children and adults in SA to contribute to childcare in every possible way. These children will carry out the message, the “CALL from Africa’s Children”. Sing for Africa will sing to generate funding for food, basic needs of children and their development. They want to reach out to the masses in SA and commit their hearts to the “Call” of the needy. Poverty is huge and Sing for Africa has a goal to initiate the strongest motivation possible. We want the “CALL from Africa’s Children” to sound in our singing right through South Africa, the rest of the African Continent and through the entire world.
4. SFA will be a key role player in building a new nation, a nation in which we will help those that have no vision of survival, to a life. Sing for Africa will help, love, cherish and hold our children in need, we will make the difference.
Business Strategy
Vision: Is to become the biggest childcare initiative on the African Continent and in the rest of the World.
Mission: To make the biggest contribution to childcare by taking hands in the effort to mobilise the masses of children, adults and the business sectors, both nationally and internationally, to contribute towards childcare in every way possible.
HELP US TO BUILD A BETTER LIFE FOR OUR CHILDREN
Objectives:
- To raise funds for needy and orphaned children through singing, delivery of music, sound and lighting services and the selling of Sing for Africa unique corporate items and products.
- To raise funds for needy and orphaned children through various fundraising projects and donation recruitment initiatives.
- To manage and control the investment of funding in such a way that Sing for Africa can become self sustainable in child care within years to follow.
- To utilise the above funds to support the basic needs and development/ education of needy and orphaned children.
- To make a difference in child care, Sing for Africa will strive to become the biggest child care organisation in Africa and the rest of the World.
- The organisation’s secondary objectives will be to:
- To create maximum awareness for the needs of children within SA, the rest of Africa and in the rest of the World.
- To build up a valuable and lasting relationship with Government (Dept of Welfare and Social development) to support them in their welfare projects and initiatives.
- To assist Government and strengthen their hands in fighting poverty, crime and abuse amongst our children in SA and on the rest of the Continent.
- To build up a database of childcare organisations for network and assistance purposes.
- To contribute to job creation in SA through empowering people to develop a sense of responsibility for childcare and the development of our own society.
- To contribute to job creation in SA through the mobilisation of the business sectors, trades and industries to contribute to childcare and social development.
- To assist SA to rejuvenate and build a new SA culture, willing to commit their assistance and support across all lines of colour and equity in favour of caring for the children of Africa and the world.
5. We need you and your family/ company to be our partner in this unbelievable powerful investment in our children, the leaders of the future. SFA will also be keen to partner in an effort by you or your company to raise funds for our children. This can be absolutely anything that you can think of, we will provide all the sound and music and assist with the co-ordination thereof. We will also advertise the event on our website and all possible mediums to our exposure. Trust us to add colour and prestige to your events and efforts and to get it into the local media. Your efforts will be advertised on our official website for contributing to childcare and making a difference. Further more your company will be included in our annual journal that will be distributed to all Ministries in Government.
