Then we had the relay race where the children used cups to transfer water from one bucket to another bucket.

The last race was the sack race.

Once all the childrens activities were completed we had the mommies and daddies compete against each other.

APHILAYO AMANZI OUTING TO HOUT BAY MARCH 2013 PDF Print E-mail
Wow!!!!!! What an amazing experience. Aphilayo Amanzi’s first outing for 2013.

We had the most awesome pleasure of having a Boat trip sponsored for our Grade R’s. None of them had ever been on a boat before and could barely contain their excitement and joy. The boat swayed quite a lot, but they were too busy enjoying being out on the sea and interacting with the other passangers on the boat.

When we got to seal island it took all we had to keep them on the boat. I am sure they would have jumped overboard to be able to play with the seals on the island. It was such an amazing and awesome gift from god for it was He who opened the hearts of all the companies and individuals who gave us sponsorships and donations to be able to let these precious children of God have experienced this adventure.

We would like to sincerely thank Drumbeat Charters for sponsoring the boat trip for the children and the care givers. To Ikhaya coffee shop we would like to thank you for the sandwiches, bompies, and fruit that you so lovingly made and sponsored for our children. A huge thank you to Springbok Atlas for sponsoring the transportation from our school to Hout Bay and Back. Thank you to the driver Sandile for his careful and considerate friendliness with our staff and our children.

We had the glorious pleasure of enjoying our adventure with many different wonderful people from various countries.

We also thank our Heavenly Father for giving our children this opportunity.-lesre
